Earliest childhood memory
Err... you know the stuff that you get underneath the carpet, this kind of bubbly stuff that you sometimes get under carpet well, it's that, really... LOL ...kind of falling around on that when I was obviously... I dunno, I must've been 3 or something. But generally speaking, my memories are very good and childhood I do have very much in a way of childhood memories but that's the earliest one and that really is all there was to it, just the carpet, I'm afraid, just this kind of blue bubbly rubbery stuff...

[Jim (sitting next to Andy): Underlay!]

...underlay, thank you. I mean,I could give you another one which is more specific but that's not the earliest one so there you go !

Biggest fear
I think my biggest fear unfortunately is probably err... being on stage LOL...yeah that's probably the thing that I find the most difficult. Generally sort of ...the fact is I'm a very shy person and err so anything which involves more than one or two or three people, any kind of group situation is...I find sometimes really really hard and obviously getting up on stage is an extreme form of that so sometimes it can be very difficult.

One wish
Errr....hehehe...Jim!! Help me out here! Not very easy.

[Jim : I'd really like a kind of '50s Gibson Les Paul if you can't think of anything better]

No, you're not having MY wish!! Well, I guess I wish that everything would be a bit less complicated. There you go...

Join another band ?
I'd like to be in the Tindersticks for a day and err...sing... no, I don't wanna say sing, you know, I really like the guy's voice but I also think that in a way it has kind of limited what they've done 'cos so many people dismiss them because he sounds like a pub singer or whatever but I think they're a great band and I'd love to be in their band for a day, yes...stop.

A Song he wishes he had written
Erm...well pretty much anything by Mark Mulcahy, I think... He just makes it seem that easy ...and if I had to choose one of his songs it would be... probably "Pull the Wagon" (ed: off Miracle Legion's album 'Me and Mr Ray') actually.
