TRUCK 2000
programme

Sunday Main Stage

Unbelievable Truth
Unbelievable Truth have been a mainstay in Oxford music scene for nearly six years, possibly clocking up the highest mileage of all other acts in the Truck line-up. Throughout their career they have witnessed both the plus and minus sides of a life in the music industry. The evangelical buzz with which the band's debut album recruited devoted fans around the world borders on unique, but the passionate love was not equally felt by the major label they signed to, who were unimpressed with the band's success and promptly dropped them. Like the fans the band picked up on their travels, Oxfordshire will always welcome the band with open arms, and smugly sit back knowing that the beauty of the songs reflects the nature of the county. On this homecoming Unbelievable Truth bear the fruits of their new album, 'sorrythankyou' which are expected to feature strongly in the band's set. Like the love people have of Unbelievable Truth, the band exceptional talent at writing songs has not been fractured, managing to be tearfully fragile, but equally uplifting with hope and joy. Although first timers at Truck festival, although some members were sighted with a large coldbox full of beer last year, Unbelievable Truth are veterans of swooning festival crowds with their soft hymnal songs, and as the sunsets over Hill Farm, they are sure to be the perfect comedown, after a night of hurty beats, and a day of humungous riffs.
